Supreme Leader's Representative and head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization arrived Iraq
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and accompanying delegation arrived Iraq. The high delegation of Hajj and Pilgrimage hve traveled to Atabat-Aliyat to examine the process of providing services to Iranian pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan and Nowruz holidays.
According to the Hajj Information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, along with head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Alireza Bayat, and accompanying delegation arrived at Najaf Ashraf Airport, welcomed by officials from the Supreme Leader's representative office in Karbala and Najaf, as well as deputy head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization in Atabat affairs Morteza Aghaei and a group of Supreme Leader representative’s officials in Iraq.
Every year during Nowruz and holy months such as Ramadan, a large number of Iranians travel to Iraq to visit holy sites. This year, with the coincidence of Nowruz and the holy month of Ramadan, it is expected that the number of Iranian pilgrims in Atabat-e-Aliyat will increase compared to previous years.
Accordingly, Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization traveled to Iraq on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan to meet with Iranian officials in the country and the custodians of the Alawi, Hosseini, Abbasid, and Askari holy shrines, as well as to visit medical centers, the central kitchen, and hotels where Iranian pilgrims are staying, and to oversee the improvement of services and solv the possible shortcomings.
