Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs;
Necessary decisions made to provide better services to the pilgrims

Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs, who traveled to Iraq along with the chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, said in a meeting with the Supreme Leader’s representative in Iraq that during this trip, the necessary arrangements and decisions will be made to improve the quality of services to pilgrims.

According to the Hajj Information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Alireza Bayat met and talked with Supreme Leader's representative in Iraq Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini.


During the meeting, the quality of services provided to the pilgrims of Ataba-e-Aliyat and improvement of services were examined, as well as the communication between the officials of the Iranian Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and the officials related to pilgrimage affairs of the Iraqi government.


Ayatollah Hosseini said at the meeting that although communication between Iranian and Iraqi pilgrimage officials have always been acceptable, but this issue has now improved compared to the past.


Referring the efforts of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization’s officials, including Mr. Alireza Bayat head of this organization, Hojjat al-lslam Navvab said that during this trip, necessary arrangements and decisions will be made to improve the quality of services.


Referring to the organization's programs for Hajj and pilgrimage in Najaf and Karbala, he said: paying attention to the spread of Islamic lifestyle and having positive spiritual impact on pilgrims is one of the serious programs of this organization and Supreme Leader Mission, and in this regard, the role of caravan clergy and caravan managers is very essential.


Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and accompanying delegation have traveled Iraq to examine the process of providing services to Iranian pilgrims in Iraq.


Every year during Nowruz and holy months such as Ramadan, a large number of Iranians travel to Iraq to visit holy sites. This year, with the coincidence of Nowruz and the holy month of Ramadan, it is expected that the number of Iranian pilgrims in Atabat-e-Aliyat will increase compared to previous years.


Accordingly, Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization traveled to Iraq on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan to meet with Iranian officials in the country and the custodians of the Alawi, Hosseini, Abbasid, and Askari holy shrines, as well as to visit medical centers, the central kitchen, and hotels where Iranian pilgrims are staying, and to oversee the improvement of services and solv the possible shortcomings.
