Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs gave speech at the gathering of fondness and knowledge held by the Supreme Leader's Delegation Office in the courtyard of Sayed al-Shuhada (AS) shrine in Karbala.

According to the Hajj Information base, Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab gave speech at the gathering of fondness and knowledge held by the Supreme Leader's Delegation Office in the courtyard of Sayed al-Shuhada (AS) shrine in Karbala.


At the beginning of his speech, he referred to the magnificent and very grand funeral of the leader of the resistance martyrs, Seyed Hassan Nasrollah, as well as his loyal companion, Seyed Hashem Safi al-Din in Beirut and said that God willing, the tomb of Seyed Hassan Nasrollah in Lebanon will become another Karbala for the guidance of humanity.


All those devoted to Islam and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) send their greetings to all those who, by following Imam Hossein (AS), sacrificed their lives for the sake of Islam and Muslims, especially these great martyrs in Lebanon and their companions, including the martyrs Nilforooshan, Zahedi, and Haji Rahimi, and all the martyrs of the Sacred Defense and martyrs of Holy Shrine defender, Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab continued his speech by explaining the subject of stamina in the path of truth and its effects and achievements. Referring to numerous verses and narrations on this subject, he said: God, His Messengers, and the Infallible Imams (AS) have always advised the believers to be steadfast and patient.


He described Imam Hossein (AS) as a perfect example of standing on the path of truth and emphasized that the enlightenment of Sayed al-Shuhada (AS) in history and in the world is the result of this standing.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out: those who persevere on the path of religion, as it is evidenced by the verses of Quran, have no sadness or grief, because sadness is for those who are on the wrong path.


He stated that benefiting from divine assistance is the second effect and achievement of stamina in the path of truth. Referring to some historical examples from the early days of Islam to the contemporary era, he added: for example, in the Tabas desert incident, the enemy never thought that its helicopters would be shot down by God such a way.


Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs described the third effect of stamina as enjoying success and victory, and stating that victory is the sweet fruit of resistance and perseverance.


According to the promise of divine truth, the final victory will belong to those who persevere on the front of truth, and there is no doubt about that; even if some today are deluded and imagine and narrate the events differently, for example, on the day of Ashura, the family of Abu Sufyan deluded themselves that they had won, but history has shown that the victory was belonged to Imam Hossein (AS) and his companions, he said.


Stating that the fourth effect of stamina is honor and happiness in this world, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said quoting Imam Ali (AS): There is no path more healthy, successful, and honorable than perseverance in the path of true religion.


He continued: the dignity and victory of the oppressed people of Gaza against the heavily armed, barbaric, and child-killing Zionist enemy is the product of this patience and perseverance. 


Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs described the fifth achievement of stamina as being much less costly than compromise.


Hojjat al-lslam Navvab emphasized those who compromise will have to pay many other costs besides the cost of embarrassment.
