Hajj and pilgrimage officials visit the Hilal Ahmar Medical Center in Iraq
During a visit by Hajj and Pilgrimage officials to the Hilal Ahmar Medical Center in Iraq, Hojjat al-lslam Navvab emphasized on strengthening medical and treatment information for pilgrims and paying greater attention to disease prevention.
According to the Hajj Information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Mr. Alireza Bayat and accompanying delegation visited the Hilal Ahmar Medical Center in Karbala and learned about the process of providing medical and therapeutic services to the pilgrims of Aba Abdullah Al-Hossein (AS).
During the visit, Dr. Amin Reza Tabatabaei, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of Hilal Ahmar Society in Iraq, provided detailed explanations about the process of providing services, some shortcomings and problems, as well as the complex's plans to improve the process of providing services to pilgrims.
After talking with some doctors and medical staff at this center, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs emphasized on improving medical and treatment information for pilgrims, especially before they are sent to Atabat.
Hojjat al-lslam Navvab noted: Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, in cooperation with Hilal Ahmar, should make arrangements to send the necessary medical and treatment advice and information to pilgrims through various systems, including social media messages and SMS, so that good progress can be made in the very important matter of disease prevention.
Addressing the Hajj and pilgrimage officials and also managers and staff of the Hilal Ahmar Medical Center, he emphasized: "Let's try to ensure that pilgrims visit the holy shrines without anxiety or problems. Therefore, we must combine service with creativity and planning so that pilgrims can do their pilgrimage with the least amount of worry.
Stating that some pilgrims, out of love for Aba Abdullah Al-Hossein (AS), obtain money for the pilgrimage through loans and with great difficulty, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs emphasized: "Given these issues, we must do all we can to ensure that these pilgrims, God willing, do not have any problems in Iraq."
Emphasizing that these measures are on the agenda of Hilal Ahmar, Dr. Tabatabaei said some preparations have been made to improve the process of disease prevention in this center, but God willing, by Hajj and Pilgrimage organization cooperation, medical services and treatment will improve.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab and Mr. Alireza Bayat, while appreciating the services of Hilal Ahmar center, emphasized the cooperation of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization in this regard.
