Details of dispatching Iranian pilgrims to Hajj Tamattu’ 1404
Deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization in Hajj and Umrah affairs announced the start of the upcoming Hajj flights from Ordibehesht 15th.
According to the Hajj Information base, Akbar Rezaei said at the national conference of clerics and assistants of Hajj 1404 caravans, which was held in the holy city of Qom, explained the measures for the Hajj 1404, stating: the necessary planning for the Hajj 1404 has been fully carried out, and various stages of registration and dispatch of pilgrims will be implemented at the designated times. Pre-registration of pilgrims began on Azar 5th, and the final registration in the caravans was officially carried out on Dey 19 and 20.
For the Hajj Tamattu’ 1404, it is expected that 85,000 pilgrims will be sent to Saudi Arabia in 598 caravans. 60% of these caravans will be Medina before pilgrims and 40% are Medina after pilgrims. pilgrims dispatching will be done from 21 flight stations in Iran to Jeddah and Medina airports, he said.
In particular, despite many efforts to send pilgrims from Taif airport, this will not be possible in Hajj Tamattu’ 1404 due to some operational obstacles.
The deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization continued: duration Iranian pilgrims stay in Medina will be 5 nights and 6 days. The flight dates will start from 8th Dhul-Qa'dah (Ordibehesht 15th) and departure will continue until Khordad 10th. also Tir 10th (Muharram 5th ) will be the last return flight from Saudi Arabia to Iran.
During Hajj Tamattu’ 1404, the average of pilgrims' stay will be about 33 days. The pilgrims will be sent to Saudi Arabia over a 25-day flight, and the return from Saudi Arabia to Iran will be carried out over a 21-day flight, Rezaei added.
He also emphasized: complying with the host country laws is one of the fundamental points that we sould pay serious attention to. Since these laws can have a great impact on the process of travel and stay of pilgrims, it must be act with care and caution in this regard.
Regarding the costs of Hajj Tamattu’ 1404, the deputy Hajj and Pilgrimage organization also stated: “We have tried to reduce the costs of pilgrims' travel. Currency fluctuations have been the main factor in the costs increas, but Hajj and Pilgrimage organization has tried to reduce costs by making special plans and taking the necessary measures."
Rezaei added: one of the important points for the success of Hajj Tamattu’ 1404 is to provide accurate and timely information to pilgrims regarding the administrative issues of Hajj. The process should be done in a way that pilgrims inform fully about the details of their trip, in order to gain their complete satisfaction and awareness.
