Six Weeks Remaining Until Start of Next Hajj Operation

At a meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the organization's deputy for Hajj and Umrah announced that the next Hajj operation will begin within six weeks.

According to the Hajj Information Base, in today's meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, which was presided by Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, the Deputy Head of Hajj and Umrah Affairs of the Hajj Organization made this statement and requested all the deputies of the Mission and Hajj Organization's units and the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center to announce and expedite their plans for sending executive and cultural agents, considering the remaining time and the upcoming holidays.


The Deputy Head for Hajj and Umrah of the Hajj Organization emphasized the need to expedite content production in the information section and to more quickly determine the results of pilgrims' medical examinations and send medicine to the host country for the upcoming Hajj.



He also referred to the concerns of pilgrims during the previous Hajj regarding the transfer of Zamzam water, and said, "Necessary measures have been taken in this regard so that the transfer of Zamzam water to the country can be carried out and distributed among pilgrims next year."


Continuing the meeting, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs emphasized that it is necessary to plan for the important points of the upcoming Hajj, and emphasized the need to pay attention to the issue of transferring foreign exchange for future Hajj and Umrah operations, in accordance with the approvals made in the meeting of the Supreme Hajj Council.


Alireza Bayat, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also pointed out that there is good interaction between the Umrah Operations Headquarters and this organization, and in accordance with the recommendations of the head of Iranian pilgrims, emphasized: The diversity of packages for the upcoming Umrah, especially for the month of Shawwal, which will coincide with Nowruz, and also the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, should be considered.



Bayat emphasized: All units will try to dispatch Umrah pilgrims with maximum capacity in the upcoming Umrah, which will begin with the end of Hajj.


According to this report, the meeting continued with a video link with officials from the offices of the Baath Party, the Hajj Organization, and the Umrah Operations Headquarters in Mecca. Hojjat al-Islam Ranjbar Hosseini reported on the cultural and religious programs prepared for Umrah pilgrims. Nasser Hoveizavi and Ali Asghari reported on the measures taken to address the concerns and problems of caravan managers and pilgrims during the Ramadan Umrah, the services provided in the areas of nutrition, accommodation, and transportation, and the process of payments to service providers in Saudi Arabia.



In this meeting, it was announced that in Umrah 1403, about 174 thousand Umrah pilgrims have visited the Land of Revelation so far, and 155,000 have returned to the country after performing their duties. Also, to facilitate the movement of pilgrims to the Grand Mosque, bus tickets have been prepared and made available to the managers of the caravans.


In the end, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization asked those involved in the Umrah field to provide the necessary information to the pilgrims about the traffic situation during the month of Ramadan when registering and attending the Umrah pilgrims in the Land of Revelation, so that they can choose their travel time with awareness.


Regarding flight delays, he said, "The Hajj Organization should not consider the cost and financial burden, and it is the pilgrim's right to be compensated for delays."
