Head of Iranian Hajj Pilgrims: Hajj 140 Flights Will Begin in Mid-Ordibehesht

The Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs said that Hajj flights for 1404 will begin in mid-Ordibehesht.

According to the Hajj Information Center, a synergy meeting between the head of Iranian pilgrims and representatives of the houses of the great religious authorities was held on Thursday in the meeting hall of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs in the holy city of Qom.


In this meeting, before addressing the main topic, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, presented a report on Umrah 1403.


He said: "The outbound flights for Umrah ended on Farvardin 19, and the return flight will be carried out in the next 10 days to close the Umrah case before Hajj 1404 (Tammatu). In Umrah 1403, planning was made to send about 195,000 people, but in the end, 205,000 people were allowed to perform.


The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs referred to the issue of monitoring pilgrims in cyberspace, and added: "Pilgrims to the House of God must monitor their activities in cyberspace, because these activities are monitored by the host country using artificial intelligence."


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab continued that the planning for Umrah this year was good, but there were problems, some of which have been reported. "Necessary information should be provided to pilgrims to reduce these problems."



 


Facilitation of Hajj Pilgrims’ Travel


 


He continued: Hajj pilgrims will be transferred from Medina to Mecca for Medina after by train, and a plan has also been made for a trip to Taif. A week has been set aside for Taif, which will save pilgrims’ time.


 


Start of Hajj Flights and Number of Pilgrims


 


The Supreme Leader’s Representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs stated: Hajj flights will begin in mid-Ordibehesht. Some caravans are 41 and 42 days long, and this time will gradually decrease to 34 days.


He continued: The transfer of Iranian pilgrims for Hajj this year will be carried out by Iran Air, Meraj, and Nass of Saudi Arabia.


 


Tracking Foreign Exchange for Pilgrims


 


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab finally mentioned the issue of foreign exchange, and said: The issue of foreign exchange is also being tracked, and it was supposed to be transferred yesterday.


Hojjat al-Islam Rostamnejad, the head of the Hajj Research Institute, also stated in this meeting while referring to the duties of this research institute that the main mission of the Hajj Research Institute is to produce content and, as the time requires, it will produce content on the pilgrimage sites, Arbaeein, Umrah, Hajj, and doubts of the day.


He invited the Office of the Houses of the Great Authorities of Taqlid for scientific cooperation with the Hajj Research Institute.



Continuing the meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Hossein Fallahzadeh, a member of the Supreme Leader's Office of Inquiry, referring to the main theme of the meeting, said: The issue of "Taqiyah" is an important issue that one must be aware of and how it works.


After Hojjat al-Islam Fallahzadeh's speech, representatives of the Houses of the Great Authorities of Taqlid expressed their views and presented their solutions on the issue of "Taqiyah", including during the Hajj journey.


At the end, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated that this is the last session to be held before Hajj 1404.
