4 Factors for the Success of the Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization As Mentioned by Deputy for International Affairs of the Supreme Leader's Office
The Deputy for International Communications of the Supreme Leader's Office attended the quarterly meeting of managers and staff of the Supreme Leader's delegation and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and delivered a speech.
According to the Hajj Information Center, Ayatollah Mohsen Qomi, Deputy for International Relations of the Office of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, began his speech by emphasizing that the Supreme Leader’s Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization have been, thank God, among the successful organizations and institutions in the country, and explained the reasons and reasons for these successes and achievements.
Referring to a sentence by Imam Khomeini (RA) in the book “Etiquette of Prayer” about the necessity of paying attention to the manners and secrets of worship, the Deputy for International Relations of the Office of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution continued: “The Imam Khomeini (RA) has a sentence in this book that was really very moving for me; he says: All our worships have a part related to their rules, a part related to manners, and a part related to secrets. Those who do not talk about the secrets and sweetness of worships and do not pay attention to them and only deal with their rules are devils; they do not serve the religion, but are a hundred of kilometers from the path of Allah."
Ayatollah Qomi continued: “Thank God, the managers and employees of the Supreme Leader’s Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization believe in the sanctity and spirituality of their work and do not consider their responsibility as just a job, and because of this belief, they consider this spirituality in their work.”
Referring to the double importance of paying attention to spirituality in the present era, he said: “The second most common disease in the world is depression, and souls are depressed. This is more common in developed countries, and the growth of suicide is also high in them, such that in the United States, 16 out of every 100,000 people commit suicide. These aspects of the issue show that depression and suicide are not related to material issues, but rather to a lack of spirituality and the abandonment of values.”
The Deputy for International Relations of the Office of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution noted: "The spirituality of Hajj is very important in this regard, because Hajj is a rebirth and has a lot of spirituality, and thank God, the employees of the Supreme Leader's Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization have themselves understood the spiritual message of Hajj and have benefited from it.
Ayatollah Qomi described the second factor in the successes of the Supreme Leader's Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization as the equal view of these groups towards pilgrims, saying: "From the perspective of these groups, there is no difference between a rich pilgrim and a poor pilgrim, or between a pilgrim from Tehran and a city, etc., and everyone must be served."
He described the special attention to communications as the third factor in the success of the mission of the Supreme Leader and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and said that the communications of these groups were good communications and that these organizations were basically built on extensive communications, both during the Hajj and other times.
The Deputy for International Communications of the Office of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution also emphasized that the most golden opportunity and time for communication work among Muslims is the Hajj ceremony.
Ayatollah Qomi also said about the fourth factor in the success of the mission of the Supreme Leader and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, addressing the managers and employees of these groups: "During these few decades after the revolution, you never sought to make your work seem great and to favor the system and individuals. Therefore, you worked sincerely and made efforts and were not people who reported in the sense of exalting yourself."
In another part of his speech, referring to the issues between Iran and the United States, and the psychological warfare that some American leaders have recently launched, he emphasized: "We are not people who surrender and we do not welcome war, but if someone wants to invade our country, our response will definitely be tooth-crushing and historic."
Referring to the policy of "active deterrence" as the main policy of Iran, the Deputy for International Relations of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution's Office said: "Increasing the country's power in the economic, social, military, political, etc. fields is among the necessities of this policy."
Before Ayatollah Qomi's speech, Dr. Alireza Bayat, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, welcomed the guests and attendees of the meeting and said that a brainstorming meeting of the managers and staff of the Supreme Leader's delegation and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization will be held quarterly.
