Representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, in a meeting with the reciters of the Noor Quranic Group, stated that the work of this group is special in Hajj Tamattu, and addressed them, saying: "Consider the opportunity of the Hajj journey as a blessing and make the most of it to serve the pilgrims."
According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, who spoke on the first day of the briefing-training course for the reciters sent to Hajj 1404, stated: "The Quran is a source of light and presence in the land of revelation along with Hajj and Umrah is another source of light, and you will be accompanied by pilgrims, some of whom have been waiting for this journey for about two decades."
Pointing out that the respected authorities of the system pay special attention and care to the dispatch and presence of reciters in Hajj Tamattu, he described the responsibility of the members of the Quranic group as heavy and asked them to carry out this mission with redoubled effort now that they have been selected for this journey.
The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and pilgrimage affairs considered this year's conditions different from previous years and, pointing out that the Hajj has been accompanied by changes compared to previous periods, stated: "Successes and victories are crystallized from hardships, and it is in hardships and deprivations that people find motivation to provide better services."
He called on the attendees to establish contact with the pilgrims of our country and recite influential verses, saying: "In the programs that you will have in Medina and Mecca among the pilgrims, you can present a face taken from the Quran. Talking to the pilgrims, in addition to creating convergence, can provide the basis for the transformation and growth of individuals."
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab further called for attention to the psychology and demographics of the audience in selecting verses and said: Consider the location and occasions in selecting verses and ask God to make your recitation impact the listener.
He said: Telling the pilgrim what verses and on what topic you are reciting and translating some verses is a way of showing respect to the audience and will encourage them to join you.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab reminded the need to pay attention to maintaining physical health during the Hajj journey and advised the reciters to pay attention to the tips and advice so that their activities are not disrupted.
He also advised the reciters to cooperate and coordinate with the speaker in selecting verses to recite in the programs, and considered it effective and useful in optimizing the programs.
The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs considered the presence in Mecca and Medina and recitation next to the Prophet's Mosque and the Grand Mosque during the Hajj days as a special feature that should be appreciated and made the most of.
He added, "Carry out your mission in such a way that when you return from the trip, you will be grateful to God for having fulfilled your responsibility in the best way."
Finally, he advised the attendees to remember the deceased, their families and children during this trip and pray for their good fate and the victory of the oppressed people of Palestine, who are martyred by Zionist criminals every day.
According to this report, at the beginning of this meeting, Mohammad Taqi Mirzajani, head of the secretariat of the committee for sending the reciters, referred to the method of selecting the members of this group and said: The reciters selected are from different provinces and some are being sent to Hajj for the first time.
He added, honoring the memory of the Quranic martyrs of Mina: The average age of these reciters in the upcoming Hajj is 34 years old, and several prominent international reciters and the Tawashih Noor group from Tehran are present in this group.
He considered the presence of the Quranic group in the Hajj Tamattu to be an indication of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s concern for the Holy Quran, and added, "The Islamic Republic has adopted Quranic diplomacy in the international arena based on the Quran, and this approach can be proposed as a model for Islamic countries."
