Representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs: Knowing the Timing, Situation, and Enemy Are Among Important Lessons of Islam

The representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs, at the gathering on the knowledge and understanding of the Holy Quran, in the Hajj and pilgrimage series, noted the need to pay attention to timing, situational awareness, and enemy awareness, and considered it one of the important lessons of Islam.

According to the Hajj Information Base, the Luminous Gathering of Humanity and the Knowledge of the Holy Quran was held today with a speech by Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the head of Iranian pilgrims, in the prayer hall of the Hajj complex.

In this gathering, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs in the year of the Battle of Hamra al-Asad, while explaining verses 169 to 175 of Surah Al-Imran, explained the attack of the polytheists on Medina in the third year of the Hijra and the Battle of Hamra al-Asad, and listed the reasons for the defeat of the Muslims in the Battle of Uhud.

He referred to the withdrawal of the hypocrites from the Muslim army, the rebellion of a group of the Prophet's companions, and their descent from Mount Ramat to collect spoils and the group of fugitives, and said: The failure of a group of the Prophet's companions to take timely action harmed the army of Islam and led to the martyrdom of Hazrat Hamza and another group of the Prophet's companions.

Pointing out that the Battle of Hamra al-Asad took place the day after the Battle of Uhud and led to the victory of the Muslims, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added: "In this battle, some of the people who accompanied the Prophet were veterans, and even Imam Ali (AS) had 70 wounds on his body. This group brought victory to the Muslims with their resistance and steadfastness, and the Quran mentions them in verse 172 of Surah Al-Imran." "Those who respond to Allah and the Messenger after the ulcer has struck them. For those who do good to them and fear, there is a great reward - for the righteous and The pious among those who obeyed God and the Messenger after they were wounded [for another war after the battle of Uhud], there is a great reward."

He pointed out that the enemy's attempt to intimidate Muslims through deception and trickery did not affect, but rather increased the faith of the Prophet's companions.

He said, "The Quran says in verse 173 of Surah Al-Imran: "Those to whom the people said, 'The enemy has gathered against you; so fear them,' but this increased their faith, and they said, 'Sufficient for us is Allah, and the best of disposers.'"

Citing some of the words of the Imams of the Revolution, he stated: "Knowing the time, knowing the situation, and knowing the enemy are important lessons that Islam has expressed and that have also been mentioned in the verses of the Quran."

The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs reminded of the recent events in the Gaza Strip and the stance of some Arab countries and talk of surrender, and said: The people of Gaza not only do not speak of surrender, but they say that we will stand and resist until the last person. A father who lost his six children considers the power of God to be superior and dominant in his words.

He added: Those who believe in the great cause and divine victory are ready to be martyred, and today, after 14 centuries, we are witnessing the crystallization of this spirit in the companions of the Imams of the Revolution and the people of Gaza.

He added: Today, there are people in the Islamic world who have this spirit and if allowed, they are ready to rush to help the people of Gaza, but the enemy and unfortunately some Islamic countries acted in such a way that the people of Gaza are in such a situation.

According to this report, in this luminous gathering, Haj Hamid Reza Ahmadi Vafa, one of the distinguished and international reciters of our country, recited verses 169 to 175 of Surah Al-Imran about the Battle of Uhud and the martyrs of this war in a pleasant voice, and the Tehran Tawashih Noor group also performed the program.
