Representative of Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs: Iranian Pilgrims Are Ambassadors of Honorable Martyrs
Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, delivered a speech at the conference of pilgrims of Hajj Tamattu 1404 from Khorasan Razavi Province, attended by pilgrims from Mashhad.
He pointed out that Hajj is an international act of worship and said, "Our pilgrims are ambassadors of our dear and honorable martyrs."
According to Hajj Information Base, the head of Iranian pilgrims gave a speech at the focused educational conference for pilgrims to the holy city of Mashhad, attended by officials from the office of the Supreme Leader's delegation in Khorasan Razavi, the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and other related institutions in the province on Friday morning, Farvardin 29, in the Shahid Beheshti Hall of Mashhad.
Referring to the advice of religious elders about the Hajj, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab noted that a pilgrim should have a proper plan to benefit from every moment of this spiritual journey with acts such as pilgrimage and reading the Holy Quran.
The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs continued by dividing the types of worship into individual and social, and stated: "Hajj is one of the important acts of worship in religion, and the stability of the Islamic society is the result of the correct use of God's engineering in the system of worship and servitude. In addition to a set of individual and social worship, God has also provided a set of regional and international worship for humans, and Hajj is considered one of the international worships."
He added, 'Our duty in this worship is heavy and we must act wisely in relation to this program, because our pilgrims are ambassadors of the dear and glorious martyrs and the people of Iran are directly and indirectly part of the martyrs' family."
Stating that currently about 800,000 people are still on the Hajj Tamattu's turn, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab continued that everyone desires this spiritual journey, but the success of this worship is not for everyone due to the existing restrictions, so "our pilgrims should be grateful for this success" and this invitation and be the representative of everyone's pilgrimage and be good ambassadors for the people of the country.
He stated that sending of Iranian pilgrims to Hajj Tamattu 1404 will begin in Ordibehesht, and said: "The Hajj journey is one of the journeys that usually some people do not have the opportunity to do more than once, so everyone should be grateful for every moment of this journey. In this regard, pilgrims should refrain from shopping in Saudi Arabia and should benefit most from their presence in the land of revelation by attending the Prophet's Mosque and the Grand Mosque and paying attention to the mysticism of the Hajj rituals."
The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, referring to a narration, addressed the pilgrims and officials present, and said: "The narration states that if you perform Tawaf with the intention of individuals, God will record the reward for these individuals. The pilgrim should know the etiquette of travel well and avoid any arrogance and be extremely kind and cooperative with other pilgrims when interacting with them. Simplicity and self-control are among the things that pilgrims should pay special attention to in this spiritual journey so that it becomes established in the pilgrim's soul and mind."
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also appreciated the efforts of the martyred president to launch the Umrah pilgrimage after its 10-year suspension, and said: "With the efforts of the martyred President Raisi, the Umrah pilgrimages were launched and currently our last pilgrims are present in the land of revelation."
In his closing remarks, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the head of Iranian pilgrims also emphasized Islamic convergence and support for the oppressed people of Palestine in this year's Hajj.
At the beginning of this conference, Hojjat al-Islam Shoja, the director of the provincial Hajj and Pilgrimage and Hojjat al-Islam Ahmari, the head of the provincial delegation office, welcomed the attendees and presented a report on the measures taken in the administrative and cultural fields of the province in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage.
