Head of Iranian Hajj Pilgrims: Arbaeen Cultural Committee Is One of the Most Influential committees of the Arbaeen Headquarters in Iran

Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab made the remarks in a synergy meeting of the officials of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee.

According to the Hajj Information Base, a meeting of the officials of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee was held on Tuesday, in the Unity Hall of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Complex in Tehran, with the presence of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs.

In this meeting, which focused on the cultural policies and programs of Arbaeen 1404 and the presentation of the report of the head of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee on the drafting of a comprehensive cultural document for Arbaeen with a civilizational and global approach, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, called dynamism the centerpiece of Arbaeen programs and emphasized that this movement is becoming more dynamic every year and its dimensions are becoming more international, and new servants and friends are joining it.

The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, noting that he had invited the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to participate in the Arbaeen rally ceremony during his meeting with the delegation, asked the head of the consular and political committee of the Arbaeen headquarters to consider appropriate measures in cooperation with the delegation of the Supreme Leader to invite ambassadors and prominent figures who show interest in attending such programs.

He emphasized that the work that is being done in Arbaeen, regardless of politics, is on the path of keeping alive the path of Imam Hussein (AS), the path of freedom and defending the spiritual rights of the human society. The Imam brought everything he had to the field and sacrificed it for the sake of God, and we must also use everything we have on this path.

The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs continued by referring to the seven axes of the Second Step of the Revolution statement and said: Ethics, spirituality, and lifestyle are among the axes that should be addressed in Arbaeen planning and policymaking, as in the past, and we should not deviate from what the Supreme Leader has said.

He referred to the movement of Hazrat Zaynab al-Kubra (SA) after the Ashura incident and the necessity of engaging in Jihad of Explanation, and reminded of the importance of enlightenment in the Arbaeen area.

He also recommended that attention be paid to Nahjul-Balagha during Arbaeen, adding: During the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (AS), one can learn the lifestyle from Nahjul-Balagha and benefit from this valuable book in the field of spirituality and ethics. A single word of Imam Ali (AS) can have a tremendous impact on the audience, so it should not be neglected.

At the end of his speech to the press, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs considered the framework of the activities in the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee to be in line with the guidelines of the Supreme Leader, and stated: The Arbaeen Cultural Committee is one of the most active and influential committees of the Arbaeen Headquarters in the country.

Referring to the increasing interest of the people to accompany and participate in this global and international movement, he said: The upcoming Arbaeen has a special feature and we do not have among us the great leaders of the Resistance Front, including General Rashid Islam and the valuable role model of the Resistance Front, Martyr Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and the great martyr Seyed Hashem Safiuddin.

Referring to the choice of the phrase "I am on the covenant" as the central slogan of the Arbaeen 1404 march, he said: The people will honor the memory of the martyrs of the Resistance Front in Arbaeen and will follow their path.

In response to a question, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab described the main axis of the movement of Imam Hussein (AS) as cultural and said: The Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee is continuing its activities along this path, and cultural programs are continuing before and during this journey, and new programs are on the agenda this year as well.

It is worth mentioning that this meeting was held with the focus on the cultural policies and programs of Arbaeen 1404, with the presence of the Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, the head of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee, and officials and representatives of institutions and organizations active in the Arbaeen region, and discussions were held about upcoming activities.
