The meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of hajj and pilgrimage

Head of the Iranian Hajj pilgrims emphasized on necessity to following up pilgrims' problems visiting Ruzah Rezvan/all pilgrims are healthy.

The meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of hajj and pilgrimage organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office held in Medina on Monday (Ordibeheshat 22) under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.


According to the Hajj Information base, at the beginning of this meeting, which was attended by Dr. Alireza Bayat, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, and a group of deputies and directors of the Supreme Leader Mission and Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized on paying special attention to the opportunity for pilgrimage and serving pilgrims in Medina and Mecca, and said that all cultural and administrative officials should strive to ensure that there are no shortcomings in services.


He advised all the servants of the Prophet's Shrine and Baitullah al-Haram pilgrims to listen to the words of pilgrims and take every step they can to fulfill their requests.


Referring to the coincidence of the anniversary of Ayatollah Raisi martyrdom, the former president of our country, with the special pilgrimage day of Imam Reza (AS), head of the Iranian pilgrims considered this coincidence meaningful and called on all executive and cultural elements of the Supreme Leader mission to support the programs that are being held in hotels on the occasion of this day.



Referring to the high level of satisfaction of pilgrims with the services provided by the pilgrim servants, Mr. Alireza Bayat, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization also said at the meeting that this satisfaction as a result of divine success and a cause of joy for the servants. At the same time, he called all executive agents to follow up on any shortcomings, even small ones, until the issue is resolved.


Mr. Mahdi Heydari, representative of the Medina headquarters in the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, also said in this meeting that as of Sunday night, 101 caravans of Iranian pilgrims had arrived in Medina on 52 flights of the Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines and 14 flights of the Saudi Arabian Nas Airlines. Thus, approximately 2,000 Iranian pilgrims arrive in Medina daily.


He said that 19 hotels in Medina are welcoming Iranian pilgrims, and so far, about 10,000 Iranian pilgrims have participated in the pilgrimages in Medina in the form of 73 caravans.


The problems faced by some pilgrims during their pilgrimage to the Ruzah Rezvan were among the important issues that were examined in detail in this meeting.


In recent years, the host country has made arrangements whereby pilgrims can only visit this holy Ruzah through the NUSUK mobile application, and this has caused problems for both individual pilgrimages by some pilgrims and group pilgrimages to this shrine.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, as well as Mr. Alireza Bayat and other directors of Supreme Leader mission and Hajj organization emphasized in this meeting that both the issue of training and helping pilgrims to register for the pilgrimage through the NUSUK software, as well as consulting with Saudi Hajj officials to resolve some problems in this regard, should be on the agenda.


Mr. Seyed Hadi Jalali, Director General of the Performance Management and Legal Affairs Office of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, also presented a report on monitoring the services to pilgrims and said: "Thank God, we have not had any particular problems with different areas of service so far, and this year, great satisfaction has been achieved with the arrangements made regarding the pilgrims' internet, and none of the pilgrims have had any complaints in this regard so far."


Mr. Mohammad Reza Behboodifar, representative of Supreme Leader Mission’s Inspection, also presented a comparative report on the process of providing services to pilgrims this year and previous years, saying: "Thank God, this year, good improvements have been made in various areas such as the registration call, method of information dissemination, medical examinations before departure, resolving the internet issue, resolving the foreign exchange problem of pilgrims, etc."


Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Hassan Rukn al-Dini, cultural deputy of the Supreme Leader's Mission, also referred to the new measures of this deputy in the cultural field of Hajj, and said that circles of fondness and familiarity with the Quran are being implemented, but this year a new thing has also been done, namely, a smart and comprehensive system has been created to guide pilgrims, which can be very useful when completed in the future.


Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent organization Dr. Seyed Ali Marashi, also said at the meeting that as of Sunday night, a total of 1,170 visits had been made by the Red Crescent's Hajj and Pilgrimage doctors, of which 930 were general visits and the rest were specialized visits.


Iranian consulate in Jeddah also reported at this meeting: "Thank God, we have not had any cases of Iranians being arrested so far."
