Hajj and Pilgrimage Planning Council with the presence of Iranian ambassador to Saudi Arabia/Latest statistics on the status of Iranian pilgrims
At the beginning of this meeting, which was attended by Mr. Alireza Bayat, Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, Mr. Alireza Enayati, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Riyadh, Mr. Hassan Zarnegar, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jeddah, and a group of deputies and managers of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized on the necessity of maintaining and promoting coordination between the various departments related to Hajj in order to provide greater service to pilgrims of the Prophet's Shrine (PBUH) and Baitullah Al-Haram.
According to the Hajj Information base, referring to his recent trip to Mecca to visit the infrastructure and facilities for serving pilgrims, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Mr. Alireza Bayat said at the beginning of the meeting: the necessary preparations in various sectors have been desired, and God willing, we will not have any particular problems.
He also said that the distribution of NUSUK cards among pilgrims, which had been slow, is improving, and the visa issuance process for Iranian pilgrims has also returned to normal.
Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization said that with the new equipment and new condition of the Iranian kitchen in Mecca, there is no concern about providing proper food.
About the flights delays for Iranian pilgrims to the Land of Revelation, Mr. Bayat also said that according to reports, the delays are about half an hour.
Islamic Republic of Iran ambassador to Riyadh Mr. Alireza Enayati also said that the state of Iran's relations with Saudi Arabia is improving in all areas, and some positive events in Iran-Saudi relations are unprecedented, not only in the last few years, but also in the history of Iran-Saudi relations.
Stating that we consider Hajj to be an essential part of Iran-Saudi Arabia relations, he added that the Iranian embassy and consulate in Riyadh and Jeddah will do their utmost to improve the process of serving pilgrims.
Providing explanations about the process of interaction between Iran and Saudi Arabia, Iranian Consul General in Jeddah Mr. Hassan Zarnegar emphasized that fortunately this year there have been very few problems in the Hajj process, especially in the city of Medina.
Presenting a statistical report on the situation of pilgrims in Medina, head of the Medina Hajj and Pilgrimage Headquarters Mr. Mehdi Heydari said at the meeting: as of Thursday, Ordibehesht 25, we have had a total of 101 incoming flights to Medina, of which 79 were operated by the Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines (Iran Air) and 22 were operated by Saudi Arabian Airlines (NAS).
He added that as of early Thursday, 162 caravans of Iranian pilgrims had entered Medina, of which 84 have already left Medina and 78 caravans included 11,364 pilgrims are present in Medina.
Mr. Heydari added that as of early Thursday, a total of 250,000 food srvings had been distributed among pilgrims in various meals.
Regarding pilgrims' visits to the medical team's clinics, he said that as of the beginning of Thursday, we have had about 7,300 visits to the clinics by Iranian pilgrims.
In another part of this meeting, Mr. Behbudi Far, the inspectorate representative, presented a report on various issues and, referring to some pilgrims’ Ignorance about their insurance rights, said: Hojjat al-Islam Navvab has emphasized that we must inform pilgrims of these rights by providing them with appropriate information.

Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent organization, also presented a report on the progress of health and medical services to pilgrims in the Land of Revelation and referring to the center's continuous efforts to transfer the needed medicines from Iran to Saudi Arabia, he said that currently, there are no Iranian pilgrims hospitalized in Saudi hospitals in Medina, but three pilgrims are hospitalized in Mecca, two of which are related to fractures and one to discomfort caused by gallstones.
In another part of the meeting, Director of the Islamic Republic of Iran Airline in Medina Mr. Mohammad Masoumi said that Jeddah airport has also become operational since Wednesday, Ordibehesht 24, with a flight departing from Sistan and Baluchestan.
Regarding the number of pilgrims who were transported from Iran to the Land of Revelation by the Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines, he said that as of the beginning of Thursday, 20,222 pilgrims from Iran had been transported to Saudi Arabia by Iran Air, of which 17,944 were transported to Medina airport and 2,278 to Jeddah airport.
The director of the Islamic Republic of Iran airline in Medina also said that as of early Thursday, 41,496 bottles of Zamzam water had been transported to Iran by IranAir to be made available to pilgrims upon their return to Iran.
In another part of the meeting, Mr. Alireza Bayat, referring to the 21 flights sending Iranian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia by the host country's NASS airline until the beginning of Thursday, noted that there were no delays in these flights and no problems were reported in this regard.
Mr. Azarsara, a representative of the Iranian Broadcasting organization, also presented a report on the organization's actions regarding the Hajj 1404.
Director General of the Presidency and Public Relations Department of the Supreme Leader's Mission Also, Mr. Alireza Salehi, while presenting a report on the measures taken by this department, said that with good coordination between the cultural deputy and the publicity department, measures related to the ceremonies have begun since the beginning of the Hajj season.
Referring to some obstacles in holding collective Kumail Du’a, he emphasized that consultations are underway to resolve these obstacles and, God willing, prayers will be held in Medina.
