Head of the Iranian pilgrims, while visiting the kitchens of the Iranian pilgrims in Medina, said that pilgrims' satisfaction with Medina's nutrition is the result of jihadi work and sincere intentions of kitchen staff.
According to the Hajj Information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab together with head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Dr. Alireza Bayat and a group of managers and deputies of the Supreme Leader mission and the headquarters of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, visited the "Zain" and "Khumri" kitchens in Medina, which cook food for Iranian pilgrims to the Land of Revelation.
During this visit, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab and Dr. Bayat, while praising the staff of these two complexes, considered the pilgrims' good satisfaction with the food to be an indication of the sincere and diligent efforts of these kitchens staff. They also emphasized that if these services done with the intention of seeking divine pleasure, there will be a great reward.

Referring to the great reward that is provided for serving the families of warriors in the religion of Islam, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: another act that, like serving the families of warriors, has a special reward is serving the families of pilgrims; now that God has provided such a great reward for serving the families of pilgrims, if someone directly serves the pilgrim himself, he will have a great reward, and if this service is in the land of revelation, the reward will be higher, and if it is done during the Hajj season, it will be even higher.
Dr. Bayat also told the staff that if there are a few very important tasks in the Hajj operation, one of them is definitely cooking food, so you staff should appreciate the importance of your work.
Director of Nutrition and Procurement of Medina Headquarters of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Mr. Mahdi Ahmadi explained to our reporter about the issue of pilgrims' nutrition and the reason for their satisfaction with the food, saying: every year we try to provide better services by diagnosing the problems of previous years. The commission that exists to purchase items for the kitchens is always trying to provide the best raw materials.
He also noted that the teams that have come to cook for Hajj are experienced and are carefully checked in terms of technical and health before being sent. Many of these employees work here for nearly 20 hours a day in a jihadi manner; they all have sincere intentions, and for this reason, the results of their efforts are usually good and satisfactory.
It is tried the foods be is in line with the tastes of the general public, because in Iran, we have a vast land with different ethnic groups and tastes, and we must be careful to cook foods that are most in line with the tastes of the general public.
Hojat al-lslam Mahdi Shahsavari, the cleric of the kitchen staff carvan in Medina, also told our reporter that these employees try to do their work with ablution and the intention of approaching Allah. Although they are working day and night, they are very happy to serve pilgrims. This spirituality of theirs and their efforts to transform the permissible work of cooking into an act of worship have good effects in their work, and the satisfaction of pilgrims today is the result of this intention of the employees.
