In Komeil Prayer Ceremony in Medina: Glittering of Iranian Pilgrims Is Product of Everyone's Empathy and Cooperation

The glorious ceremony of the Komeil prayer was held in the presence of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the head of Iranian pilgrims, and Alireza Bayat, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and a group of representatives of the houses of great religious authorities on Thursday night (Khordad 1, 1404) near the shrine of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the martyred Imams (AS) in Medina.

According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, during his speech at the ceremony, referred to some of the important advice and reminders of Imam Ja’far al-Sadeq (AS) to pilgrims to the Holy House of Allah and said: Imam al-Sadeq (AS) says: those who want to perform Hajj, the first thing they should do is to empty the house of their hearts of everything other than Allah.

He continued: Imam Sadeq (AS) also advises pilgrims to “entrust all your affairs to your Creator”; that is, trust in God and entrust your affairs to Him. Usually, some people become anxious during the Hajj season as to whether they can perform their actions properly or not. Imam Sadeq (AS) advises pilgrims to the Sacred House to learn the necessary training and make the necessary preparations, but ultimately entrust their affairs to God and not become anxious or worried. The one who invites will help in performing the rituals.

Patience and consideration for fellow travelers and other pilgrims was another advice from Imam Sadeq (AS) that the head of Iranian pilgrims emphasized.

Referring to the praise of the host country's officials, including the Saudi ambassador to Iran and the former head of the affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque (PBUH), for the discipline of Iranian pilgrims, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs added: If Iranian pilgrims are famous for their discipline and shine among other pilgrims, this is the result of this consideration, cooperation, kindness and compassion towards each other; because Iranian pilgrims know very well that they are all guests of the Most Gracious and the guests of God and the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).

The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs continued by calling on pilgrims to make the most of this golden opportunity and said: Today, the waiting time of compatriots in line for Hajj Tamattu is nearly 15 years, and some of those who have now been granted the opportunity have passed 20 years since their registration. Therefore, we must appreciate this very valuable opportunity and take advantage of every moment of it.

Referring to the hadiths of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Ali (AS) about the importance of taking advantage of opportunities, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said that these opportunities, in the words of Imam Ali (AS), are obtained slowly but are quickly lost.

Continuing his speech, he gave moral and devotional advice and urged the pilgrims to benefit from the virtues of tonight, which coincides with the night of Dahwu al-Ard, as well as the virtues of tomorrow, and to perform the recommended deeds.

At the beginning of this session, Professor Kashfi, one of the prominent reciters of our country, recited the Quran, and at the end, Hajj Ali Mahdavinejad blessed the attendees by reciting the Komeil prayer.
