Head of the Iranian pilgrims put on Ihram and left for Mecca
After staying in Medina for 15 days and supervising the process of Hajj 1404 operations and the quality of service provided to Iranian pilgrims, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab put on Ihram at the Shajarah Mosque in Medina and departed for Mecca.
According to the Hajj Information base, Dr. Alireza Bayat, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also accompany head of the Iranian pilgrims on their journey to Mecca.
Before the attendance of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab at the Shajarah Mosque, a farewell ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Hassan Zarnegar, the Iranian Consul General in Saudi Arabia, and a group of managers and deputies of Supreme Leader's delegation and also Hajj and Pilgrimage Headquarters.
During his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Zarnegar thanked the Supreme Leader Mission and Hajj and Pilgrimage Headquarters for the coherent planning and good implementation of these programs, and emphasized that the country's diplomatic apparatus is also trying to provide better conditions for Iranian pilgrims through continuous consultations with the host country's officials.
During a brief talk with reporters at the Shajarah Mosque, Hojjat al-lslam Navvab pointed out that the Iranian flight schedule to Medina is entering its final days and God willing, all Iranian pilgrims of "Medina I" will visit Mecca in the coming days. He also pointed out the desirable changes in wearing Ihram process at the Shajarah Mosque this year and said: In previous years, people usually attended the mosque from Maghrib time, and the crowd density during Maghrib was very high. But this year, good planning has been done, part of which is related to the Medina-Mecca high-speed train program, and another part is the adjustments that the host government itself has made to improve things at the mosque.
Stating that, thank God, the programs of Iranian pilgrims in the Land of Revelation are being implemented well, he expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the servants.
Referring to the calm and orderly atmosphere of Iranian pilgrims donning Ihram at the Shajarah Mosque and departing for Mecca, Dr. Alireza Bayat, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization said that, thank God, in a very calm atmosphere, every night, about 2,000 of our dear pilgrims don Ihram at the Shajarah Mosque and depart for Mecca.
Stating that these pilgrims are transported to Mecca every night by 8 high-speed trains, he said: the last group of pilgrims from “Medina I” will depart from this city of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to Mecca by the Dhul-Hajjah 4th.
Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization also made an announcement about the pilgrimage to Atabat-Aliyat and referring to his meeting with the Hajj and Pilgrimage representation in Iraq, he said: Fortunately, good planning has been made for the Day of Arafat ceremonies and a significant capacity has been created; therefore, while congratulating the pilgrims who intend to visit Karbala during these days, I would like to say that, God willing, the Hajj and Pilgrimage Complex will be at their service with good preparations so that they can provide a worthy service.
Dr. Bayat emphasized that, along with the Hajj operation plan, his colleagues at the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization are also following the plans for pilgrimage to Atabat-Aliyat, and the necessary arrangements and preparations are also being made for the Arbaeen ceremony.
