Hajj Assistants, followers of the Infallibles (AS) tradition
The conference of Hajj Assistants of Region 4 was held in the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Dr. Alireza Bayat at the Kudi Tower 1 complex in Mecca.
According to the Hajj Information base, at this conference, which was held with the presence of numerous pilgrim helpers from Region 4 of Mecca, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, described serving the pilgrims of Baitullah al-Haram as a great success and the desire of many elders.
Referring to the life of the infallible Imams (a.s.), he said: Imam Sajjad (a.s.) served the pilgrims anonymously during the Hajj journey and was the anonymous helper of the pilgrims. The other infallible Imams (a.s.) and their companions also tried to be the servants on this path.
He considered sincere and unpaid service to pilgrims of Baitullah al-Haram a tradition rooted in the culture of the Iranian people and the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS), and stated that the Iranian people have always been renowned for their sacrifice and devotion. Many doctors, while performing Hajj, volunteered to treat patients, so that they could be both pilgrims and pilgrim doctors. Many retired clerics, even though they came to Hajj at their own expense, expressed their readiness to serve and guide pilgrims.
Head of the Iranian pilgrims attributed this to the spirit of sacrifice and dedication of the believers in this path, which they learned from the Quran and Ahl al-Bayt, adding: some of those who serve caravans and pilgrims as servants are people who, in the country, must make an appointment in advance to see them, but during the Hajj season, they dedicate all their time to serving the pilgrims.
At the end, he referred to Satan's temptations to despair and said: know that the leader of this movement is someone else, and since you are enduring hardships for the happiness of the Imam of the Age (a.s.), he will also help you.

Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, in the presence of pilgrims' helpers, also assessed the assistants' help to the caravan managers as very important and said: since the number of caravan crews has become much smaller than before in order to increasing the number of pilgrims, a huge burden has fallen on the caravan crews, and your help is very effective in satisfying the pilgrims, especially the disabled and those who have been lost.
Many times during the Hajj pilgrimage, in very sensitive cases, such as on the way of Jamarat, a small amount of help has saved a pilgrim from heatstroke, getting lost, and even death, and your role can even prevent a disaster, Mr. Alireza Bayat said.
Emphasizing the authenticity of the caravan's structure and its support for the caravan's director and cleric, he added the policy of the Islamic Republic is to respect the regulations of the host country.
Mr. Bayat also noted that fortunately this year, compared to previous years, we have had the least tension and problems in Hajj operation and things have gone much more smoothly.
