Transportation planning led to optimal use of facilities and speed increase of transfer

Transportation conference (those involved in land transportation of pilgrims from Mecca to holy Masha’rs and from the holy Masha’rs to Mecca during the days of Tashreeq) was held in the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, and head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Dr. Alireza Bayat and a group of Hajj Headquarters managers.

According to the Hajj Information base, stating that transportation bears a heavy burden in transfering pilgrims during the days of Tashreeq, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said at the conference that the transportation system has been effective in both the optimal use of facilities and in preventing waste and also increasing the speed of work.

Referring to a hadith of Imam Ali (AS), which states: "Whenever God Almighty desires good for a servant, inspires him with moderation and good judgment, and keeps him away from mismanagement and extravagance," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab noted: moderation in work keeps an individual and an organization away from extravagance, and good judgment also prevents the emergence of objections and dissatisfaction.

While emphasizing the necessity of planning based on the needs and necessities, head of the Iranian pilgrims pointed out the very important role of "execution" in realizing plans, and said that if "execution" is not precise, it may even cause problems for good planning.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also described "training and information" as well as "pathology and identification of obstacles" as requirements for proper planning, and said, "Thank God, a good plan has been prepared for transfering pilgrims during the days of Tashreeq, and officials of the host country have also taken good measures, and God willing, with good implementation, we will have a favorable Tashreeq days."

Before the speech of the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs, Mr. Rahimi, head of the transportation department, presented a detailed report on this department's planning for the days of Tashreeq.

Preparing various maps of the scene, preparing highly detailed educational video clips, holding numerous training sessions, and the presence of transportation officials in the field to explain the operation were among the topics that Mr. Rahimi mentioned.
