Head of Iranian Hajj Pilgrims Meets Representatives of Great Religious Authorities: This Year's Hajj Situation Is Better in Many Ways Than Previous Years

According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, while offering condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Muhammad Baqer (AS) and the anniversary of the passing of Imam Khomeini (RA), the great founder of the Islamic Revolution, thanked the presence of representatives of the houses of the great religious authorities in the office of the Supreme Leader.

The head of Iranian pilgrims, while thanking the cooperation and presence of representatives of the offices of the religious authorities in the monthly meetings of the mission in Qom, called for the continuation of these meetings and, based on previous coordination, for holding a meeting of meetings in this regard in Mecca.

Referring to the existence of some problems related to visas and currency transfers, etc. in the days before the start of the Hajj operations in the land of revelation, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: Of course, we were confident that with God's help, these problems would be resolved, and fortunately they were resolved; because the Hajj has a resourceful caravan leader for whom our lives are sacrificed.

He added: "The operation to bring pilgrims to Medina has now ended, and the pilgrims' situation is good and better than in some years; the average flight delay has reached a good record of about 10 minutes, and cultural and educational programs have been held with the cooperation of pilgrims. A one percent quota has also been created for the presence of new pilgrims, and foreign exchange issues are also being handled. Overall, the situation has improved in many matters.

The head of Iranian pilgrims expressed hope that the upcoming Hajj will be one of the most successful cases of holding Hajj of the Islamic Republic with the cooperation of the delegations of the great religious authorities, the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and all the servants of Hajj.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Alireza Bayat, Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Mr. Alireza Enayati, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Saudi Arabia, and Mr. Zarnegar, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jeddah, were also present at the meeting. Mr. Mahdavinejad, the Ahl al-Bayt eulogist, also spent a few minutes lamenting the tragedy of Imam Muhammad Baqer (AS).
