Head of Iranian Hajj Pilgrims Visits Pilgrims' Transportation Control Room to Sacred Shrines/Transfer Operations; Regularly Underway
Before leaving for the land of Arafat, Hojjat al-Islam and Muslim Sayyid Abdul Fattah Nawab, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and pilgrimage affairs and the supervisor of Iranian pilgrims, visited the control room for the movement of Iranian pilgrims, thanked those involved in this very important matter in the Hajj operation, and appreciated their extensive efforts and efforts.
He was informed about the latest process of transporting pilgrims to the land of Arafat and Mena.
Mr. Reza Rahimi, head of the transportation unit, presented a report on the process of transporting pilgrims to the holy sites during this visit and said:
The transportation operation began this morning with the transfer of Sunni pilgrim caravans to the land of Mina. This operation was carried out using 103 buses and in three time periods. The operation began at 5 am and the Sunni pilgrims gradually left the hotels at 6 am and moved towards Mina. This phase of the operation ended around 1 pm.
Regarding the transfer of Shiite pilgrims, he also said: The operation began at 11 am. Within a few hours, about 600 buses were transporting the pilgrims, with the female pilgrims being transported first. At around 6:30 PM, all the women were transported to Arafat, and after the Maghrib prayer, the men's transport operation continued. It is expected that the process of transporting the male pilgrims will also be completed by around 11:00 PM.
The head of the transportation unit noted: This year's transportation operations are being carried out with more order and quality than last year.
