Head of Iranian Hajj Pilgrims at Women of Resistance Gathering: Muslims and Free People of the World Are Angry at the Oppression of Palestinians

The gathering of women of resistance was held with the presence of hundreds of Shiite and Sunni women pilgrims to the Holy House of Allah at the Arkan Bakkah Hotel in Mecca.
According to Hajj Information Base, at this gathering, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the head of Iranian pilgrims, referred to the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and said, "If the clutches of the arrogant oppress the Muslims of Palestine, the Muslims of the East and West of the world, from Indonesia and Malaysia to Africa, are dissatisfied and angry with this oppression and are shouting their anger in the streets."
Referring to the success of performing the Hajj by the grace of God Almighty, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab said, "Unlike prayer and fasting, which are obligatory on all healthy people, Hajj is only the duty of those who are able, and many of our friends who wished to come to this journey did not have the financial and physical means; therefore, the success of performing the Hajj requires gratitude."
Referring to the noble verse of the Quran that says, “And whoever is grateful, he is only grateful for himself,” the head of Iranian pilgrims said, “Whoever is grateful for a blessing, it benefits him, and gratitude increases the blessings of God.” Imam Hassan Mujtaba (AS) also considers the goodness that has no evil to be gratitude for blessings and patience in the face of adversity.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, quoting a hadith from the Holy Prophet (PBUH), said: “Gratitude is half of faith, and the other half is patience.”
The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs concluded by saying: “Gratitude for the blessings of Hajj is to become more humble when we return to our homeland and to pray our prayers on time. Gratitude is the nature of the free, and those who are grateful for the blessings of God are the grateful.”
Before the speeches of Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, Hojjat al-Islam Rafiee, in a speech referring to Islam’s just view of men and women, said, "The first believers in the Messenger of God (PBUH) were a man and a woman, namely Hazrat Khadija (SA) and Imam Ali (AS), and the first martyrs of Islam were also a man and a woman, namely Yasir and Sumayyah. God even presents Asiyah, the wife of Pharaoh, as a role model for men and women.
He praised the patience and resistance of Palestinian women, and added: "Today, in Palestine, both women and men are resisting, and if women do not resist and do not support their wives and children in this way, men cannot resist."
He prayed for the victory of the oppressed people of Palestine, stating that the resistance and steadfastness will of the Palestinian people will pay off.
