At a special meeting of Hajj and Pilgrimage Planning Council in Mecca: Condemnation of the Zionist regime's criminal attack on Islamic Iran

Members of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Planning Council assured Iranian pilgrims of the Holy House of Allah that all necessary arrangements have been made to continue accommodating pilgrims and that all scenarios for transporting pilgrims to their homeland are being studied, and there is no reason for concern.

According to Hajj Information Base, following the brutal attacks by the Zionist regime on our country and the suspension of flights to transport pilgrims to their homeland, a special meeting of the Planning Council of the Supreme Leader's Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held in Mecca, chaired by Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and the head of Iranian pilgrims, and in the presence of Dr. Alireza Bayat, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and a group of deputies and managers of the Mission and the Hajj Headquarters.

At the beginning of this meeting, the head of the Iranian Hajj pilgrims condemned the criminal and barbaric act of the Zionist enemy, the martyrdom of a group of servants of the Islamic Front, from the commanders of our country's military forces to nuclear scientists, as well as the dear people of our country, to the Imam of the Age (AS) and Imam Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Emphasizing that, contrary to the will of the child-killing and criminal Zionist enemy and its American and Western supporters, these terrorist acts will not only weaken the country's morale and strength, but will ultimately strengthen the Islamic Front and increase solidarity between the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab referred to the precedents of such events in the early days of Islam and the period after the Islamic Revolution, and said: "In the early days of Islam, in some wars, including the Battle of the Trench (the Ahzab), all disbelief faced all of Islam and thought that it could cut off the roots of Islam; After the Islamic Revolution, in the very first years, 72 officials of the revolution were martyred, hoping that the nation would return to its own path or that the revolutionary spirit would reach a dead end.

However, not only did the enemies of Islam failed to achieve their goal, but Islam and the revolution were strengthened even more than before.

He noted: Today, all disbelief is pitted against all of Islam, and this issue will strengthen the unity of the Islamic nation.

Dr. Alireza Bayat, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also condemned the Zionist regime's action and offered condolences for the martyrdom of the leaders of the Islamic world, a group of nuclear experts, and a number of ordinary people, emphasizing: As stated in the message of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Iran will give a decisive response to this crime based on its legitimate right.

Other attendees at this meeting, including Mr. Hassan Zarnegar, the Iranian Consul General in Jeddah, also condemned the Zionist regime's criminal action and emphasized that this crime will, God willing, hasten the destruction of the infamous Zionist regime.

In the continuation of the meeting, the head of Iranian pilgrims, as well as the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and some deputies and managers present at the meeting exchanged news on the latest situation of Iranian pilgrims present in Mecca and Medina, and various scenarios regarding the accommodation and transfer of pilgrims were examined.

According to the report of Mr. Akbar Rezaei, Deputy Head of Hajj and Umrah of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, 10,785 Iranian pilgrims have returned to their homeland so far, and 8,900 have left Mecca for Medina al-Nabi as "Medina later" pilgrims. Therefore, currently 75,915 Iranian pilgrims and pilgrim service agents are present in Medina and Mecca.

In this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab and Mr. Bayat and other deputies and managers of the mission emphasized that the necessary arrangements have been made to continue the accommodation of pilgrims in the cities of Mecca and Medina and that there is no concern in this regard.

In this meeting, it was emphasized that the peace and security of pilgrims is the most important priority of the Hajj Operations Headquarters.

Mr. Hovezawi, head of the Hajj Organization's representative office in Saudi Arabia, also said that the Saudi Ministry of Hajj, with the participation of the deputy minister and some managers of the ministry, has formed a room to monitor the situation and has announced its readiness to provide Iranian pilgrims with any necessary facilities in the areas of housing, nutrition, and transportation by forming a joint room with Iran so that no problems arise for Iranian pilgrims in this regard.

Mr. Masoumi, Iran Air's representative in Saudi Arabia, also announced in the meeting that flights from Saudi Arabia to Iran have been suspended until tomorrow morning for the time being and this suspension may be extended.

In this meeting, various scenarios for transporting pilgrims to their homeland, including air, land, and sea transfer scenarios, were discussed and examined in detail, and it was emphasized that pilgrims should be assured that no problems will arise, God willing.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also pointed out that the feelings of Iranian pilgrims have been hurt by the atrocities of the Zionist regime, and noted that these feelings must be directed in the right direction.

Holding programs to commemorate the martyrs of the Zionist regime's attack as martyrs of the Islamic world in caravans and hotels where Iranian pilgrims are staying was also among the topics discussed in this meeting.
