According to Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab went to Jeddah Airport on Wednesday evening to closely monitor the process of Iranian pilgrims' presence at this airport and their services.
During this visit, Iranian officials present at Jeddah Airport presented a report on the operations of accepting and releasing Iranian pilgrims to Arar Airport.
Seyed Hassan Salehi, head of the Hajj Headquarters based at Jeddah Airport, said: Four stations have been prepared for pilgrims to settle in and temporarily rest, and pilgrims enter the main departure hall of the airport after their turn to fly. These halls have a suitable cooling system and each pilgrim receives a welcome package upon arrival.
He said: Today, 22 flights from three airlines, Nas, Adil, and Saudi Airlines, will transport 7,800 pilgrims to Arar Airport.
The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs attended the Iranian convoys present at the Jeddah airport halls and talked to them.
The pilgrims, while appreciating the efforts made to transport the pilgrims in the extraordinary circumstances, raised some requests regarding the pilgrimage to Najaf and Karbala, to which the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs assured them that the officials of the Hajj Organization are stationed in Iraq and will make every effort to fulfill the pilgrims' requests to the best of their ability.
It is worth noting that the pilgrims, while congratulating the victory of our country's warriors under the guidance of the Commander-in-Chief and the support of the government and people who resist the leaders of arrogance and child killers, requested to convey their humble greetings to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
