Appreciation for Planning and Providing Decent service during Hajj 1404

Deputy for International Affairs of  Supreme Leader office and the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, in a meeting with officials from the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, discussed matters related to this year’s Hajj and described the services provided during Hajj 1404 as commendable and worthy of appreciation.

According to the Hajj Information base, deputy for International Affairs of Supreme Leader office Ayatollah Mohsen Qomi and Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mr. Seyed Abbas Salehi met with Supreme Leader’s representative in hajj and pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdolfattah Navvab and head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Mr. Alireza Bayat. They discussed issues related to this year’s Hajj including operational plans, coordination for dispatching and returning pilgrims, and matters concerning Iranian pilgrims in the land of revelation.


In this meeting, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization presented a report on the operational aspects of Hajj 1404. Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs also highlighted the precise planning, collective effort and unity among various executive and cultural departments involved in organizing the dispatch and return of Iranian pilgrim caravans during this year’s Hajj.



Deputy for International affairs of the Supreme Leader office and the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance expressed their appreciation for the planning and high-quality services provided during Hajj 1404. They also exchanged views with Hajj and Pilgrimage officials regarding the dispatch of Umrah pilgrims to the land of revelation. Considering the country’s current conditions, they emphasized the importance of improving services for Iranian pilgrims and stressed the need for synergy among all relevant organizations and institutions, as well as preserving the dignity and honor of the pilgrims of Baitullah al-Haram.



According to the report, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization stated that host country cooperation with the Hajj service providers of the Islamic Republic of Iran led to a smooth Hajj operation. With an increase in numbers, the total Iranian pilgrims for Hajj 1404 reached 86,700, including both pilgrims and operational staff.
