Hajj falls in the month of Dhul Hijjah
The last of the Islamic Year
Rush towards the city of Mecca then
Devotees from every corner
While on his way to Holy land
Utters every pilgrim now and then
"Here I am at your command O Lord
And ready to hear all we can stand
Hajj is a compulsory rite
For those that are healthy
And have enough funds
Be black or while, king or beggar
Once assembled here in fellowship
Are considered the same by our Creator
For Hajj is a joint worship
Clad all in white, an unsewn cloth
Fervently appear before the God
Seeking His favour, not His wrath
And craving the blessings of their Lord
The last of the Islamic Year
Rush towards the city of Mecca then
Devotees from every corner
While on his way to Holy land
Utters every pilgrim now and then
"Here I am at your command O Lord
And ready to hear all we can stand
Hajj is a compulsory rite
For those that are healthy
And have enough funds
Be black or while, king or beggar
Once assembled here in fellowship
Are considered the same by our Creator
For Hajj is a joint worship
Clad all in white, an unsewn cloth
Fervently appear before the God
Seeking His favour, not His wrath
And craving the blessings of their Lord
