Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization meets

Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization meeting was held with the presence of Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held today under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab. The report of the working group for reviewing and improving the processes of the General Directorate of Inspection, performance evaluation and handling of complaints was reviewed at the meeting. After discussing the processes, activities and presented measures, several proposals were adopted with the aim of helping to empower and improve the career path and also coordinating for synergy in inspections and evaluation of individuals. Following the closure of Hajj 99 and with the aim of optimizing and improving the quality of activities related to Hajj, twenty working groups have been formed for pathology in various fields and so far the reports of five working groups have been proposed and discussed at the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj Organization. Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also mentioned at this meeting the topics discussed in a telephone call with the Saudi Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, and referring to the continuation of Iranian citizens' travel to Iraq under corona pandemic, reminded the negative effects on the country. Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian emphasized: Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization is ready to manage these trips and while providing dignity and honor of Iranian pilgrims; observing health instructions, to provide appropriate services. Despite the organization's readiness to send pilgrims to the land of revelation, Saudi Arabia, as last year, will perform the upcoming Hajj in a limited way for Saudis and foreigners residing in the country, Hajj and Umrah Deputy to the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei said. At the end of his speech, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and pilgrimage Affairs pointed to the issue of elections and the importance of a large turnout at the ballot box and its effects on domestic, regional and international levels and added: As the Supreme Leader has said, the large turnout in next Friday's election will be encouraging for friends and disappointing for enemies.
