World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt and Supreme Leader Delegation Office signed MOU on the fourth day of Hajj week

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, a memorandum of understanding between Supreme Leader's Representation in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the World Assembly of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) was signed in a ceremony by Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and Hojjat al-Islam Reza Ramezani. At this ceremony, which was also attended by several deputies and managers of these two institutions, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, in his speech, reminded the need to benefit from the international capacities of great Hajj Congress and said: Hajj has a special place in cultural-propaganda activities and transnational arena and needs special attention of the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran to this issue according to its various capacities and capabilities, including Umrah, Tamattu’ and Atabat-e-Aliyat . Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said Supreme Leader's Representation in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the World Assembly of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) have the same capacities; adding: Coordination and cooperation between these two institutions can double these capacities. In line with the lofty goals of cultural development and ideas of pure Islam of the Prophet (PBUH) based on the school of Ahl al-Bayt (as) and promoting the level of cooperation and benefiting from experiences in Hajj and pilgrimage and the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (as), this memorandum signed by both parties, he emphasized. The head of the Iranian pilgrims stated that the purpose of signing this memorandum is cooperation between two sides in various fields such as cultural, educational, research and propaganda ,taking into account expert facilities within the framework of the laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and also due to the policies and programs of the parties. Secretary General of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt Hojjat al-Islam Reza Ramezani, also described the signing of this memorandum as useful and effective in developing bilateral cooperation and said: Hajj is an exceptional opportunity to establish communication between Muslims and intellectuals in the Islamic world. He said that Imam Khomeini (RA) revived the social concepts of Islam, especially in the field of Abrahamic Hajj, adding: "today, Hajj can play a role in interactions between Islamic countries." It is worth mentioning that this memorandum was signed in eight articles between the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (as) and the Supreme Leader Delegation Office on Khordad 25, 1400 and will be valid until Khordad 25, 1405.
