Supreme Leader's Representative Office Ready to Share Experiences with Bosnia-Herzegovina

Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab voiced readiness of his office to share its experiences in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage with Bosnia-Herzegovina.

According to the Hajj information Base, Bosnian Ambassador to Iran Mr. Samir Veladzic in a meeting with Hojjat al-Islam Navvab discussed the ways of cooperation between the two countries in the field of Hajj and pilgrimage. During the meeting while referring to the approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran in developing relations with the Muslim country of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab voiced his office's readiness to share its experiences in the field of Hajj and pilgrimage with the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Hojjat al-Islam Navvab recalled the capabilities of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in executive, religious, cultural and scientific matters and said that due to the coordination and interaction of the Hajj authorities of the two countries, these capacities can be used to provide better services to Bosnian Muslims in Hajj rituals. Referring to the constructive role played by the Islamic Republic of Iran defending Bosnian Muslims in the bloody war against his country, the Bosnian ambassador, for his part said that he would try to provide the basic for further communication between the Islamic community of Bosnia-Herzegovina, which is in charge of the Hajj pilgrimage program in Bosnia, and the Supreme Leader's Representative Office. "The presence of Iranians in Bosnia created the basis for a cordial relationship between the two nations, and the Bosnian people want to strengthen and develop religious and cultural relations with them," he added. Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out the special interest of the Bosnian people in the Prophet Mohammad's family and expressed his hope that the presence of more Bosnian Muslims in the Arbaeen rituals held for Imam Hossein (AS) to be provided. Mr. Samir Veladzic referred to the rally of tens of kilometers of the people of his country on the anniversary of the historic Srebrenica massacre, and underlined the need for more information dissemination among Bosnian Muslims about the Arbaeen rituals. "We are interested in communication that can bring the people of the two countries closer together," he added.
