Hojjat Al-Islam Navvab: Pilgrims' Helpers Are Jihadi Servants of Guests of God

The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Abdolfattah Navvab while pointing out that pilgrims' helpers pay zekat of their knowledge, physical ability and strength, emotional sense and divine vision said that helpers of pilgrims are actually Jihadi servants of guests of God.

According to Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab while speaking at the conference of pilgrims' helpers that was held on Wednesday evening (Khordad 16) at Qasr Al-Alian hotel in Mecca added, "This is a great success. It is that a person is a pilgrim and at the same time a servant of the guests of God." Pointing out that this service is a type of special attention to the pilgrims, he continued that serving the guests of God's house in the land of revelation has a very high reward, and God gave the honor of serving the guests of the Most Merciful to the Prophet Abraham (PBUH) and Hazrat Ismail. Of course, the type of service is different because the needs are different. Some dear pilgrims may not have had a history of being away from their homes and families, and especially women need consolation and emotional help, so it is important from the point of view of psychology how to serve the pilgrims. Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out that some of the guests of God need religious training services during this journey, and said that the pilgrims' helpers in this spiritual journey are jihadi servants of the guests of God, which is a very valuable issue. The head of the Iranian pilgrims stated that the people who serve the pilgrims in this land give zekat of their ability, knowledge, physical strength, psychology and divine vision, and said: Pilgrim helpers have the spirit of Hatim Tayee. He further referred to the pilgrims' helpers as an example of verse 26 of Surah Yunus, "For those who have done good deeds, there is goodness [Heaven] and more [on it]" and said: Helping pilgrims is one of the highest things." The representative of the Supreme Leader in matters of Hajj and Pilgrimage continued to point out the voluntary services of 400 Iranian doctors to the pilgrims during the Hajj season last year and said: With the measures of the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the mission of the Supreme Leader and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center, this year about 7 The convoy of Hajj brokers was reduced so that more pilgrims could come on the spiritual journey of Hajj, because now 900,000 people are waiting to be sent to the Land of Revelation. He said that just as each rak'at of prayer in Masjid al-Haram has a very high reward, every good deed in the city of Mecca and the Land of Revelation, including serving the pilgrims, has a double reward, as God Almighty said in verse 30 of Surah Fatir: "To give them their full reward and to increase His bounty towards them". He said that God gives double reward and bounty to people who do good deeds. Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said to the pilgrims: "You are doing this act as an honor and without any obligation, and in fact, your valuable act is an example of the 2nd verse of Surah Ma'idah which says, "Cooperate with each other in good deeds and piety". At the end of his speech, while offering condolences on the approaching anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Javad (AS), Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: "Imam Javad (AS) was very liked by eighth Imam of the Shiites, Imam Reza (AS), and the birth of this Imam invalidated the enemies' lies about Imam Ali bin Musa al-Reza (AS).   Important Role of Martyr Raisi in Establishing Hajj 1403   In the continuation of this conference, Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also advised the pilgrims to do this valuable action in order to be close to God and to relieve themselves, because their generation will also benefit from the blessings of this voluntary action.  "The forces of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization are involved in the discussion of Hajj, Umrah, Atbat, etc., and if the pilgrims' helpers do not cooperate, this organization will not be able to provide services to this city that has more than 85,000 pilgrims and in various fields of transportation, accommodation, nutrition, etc., they want to provide services," he added. Hosseini further said that in this year's Hajj ceremony, about 900 people from the headquarters and executive forces were reduced and we tried to reach an acceptable situation in the competition with 59 countries despite the fact that we had lost some infrastructure in the area of accommodation. He went on to point out that the Hajj organization was facing challenges in the field of transferring currency to the host country, and said: "The late Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the martyred president, and Mr. Amirabdollahian, the martyred foreign minister, played an effective role in organizing this year's Hajj." Referring to the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran has the cheapest Hajj among the countries compared to the services it provides, he said: "We organize the Hajj ceremony while we are in a state of embargo and many airlines are not allowed to transport pilgrims. We extend a helping hand to the pilgrims." At the end of this ceremony, Haj Amir Arif, Khadim al-Reza, and one of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) praisers and eulogists, gave an eulogy on the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Javad (AS).
