Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs among the Sunni cultural servants:
Gratitude and thanks for the collective support of Islamic world scholars for the Palestinians

Praising the Sunni scholars’ activities and commandment of jihad in defending the oppressed people of Palestine, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said among the Sunni cultural servants of the upcoming Hajj caravans: "If the Islamic world scholars, both Shia and Sunni, all serve the oppressed people of Palestine, the value of it would be greater than thousands of Hajjs."

According to the Hajj Information base, at the meeting of cultural servants of the country's Sunni Hajj caravans, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab considered this year's Hajj slogan to include three essential issues for the Islamic community. He described Quranic behavior and life as essential and emphasized on paying attention to the harms result of not paying attention to Quranic life, saying: "Islamic convergence is Islamic unity, and if there was solidarity among Muslims, there would be no room for the influence of the enemies of Islam." Stating that the slogan of defending Palestine has had a good impact among the dear people of this land, he referred to the crimes of the occupying regime in the massacre and expulsion of the people of Gaza and said:  Peace be upon those Sunni scholars who came to the fore and supported the oppressed palestinians and commanded jihad. This is our duty, and if Shia and Sunni scholars of the Islamic world serve in this field, its value is greater than thousands of Hajjs. Referring to a hadith, head of the Iranian pilgrims added: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "The believers are like one body in their consideration and kindness to each other." Muslims should also all move together, and if a problem occurs for a group of Muslims, the rest of them should also be concerned. But have we fulfilled this expectation of the Prophet of Islam? Referring to the Prophet's advice on love, unity, and fulfilling the trust of believers, he stated: pilgrims in the Hajj caravans have a look at what we are saying. We have a heavy responsibility towards them, and among religious brothers, the one who loves the most has greater virtue. Head of the Iranian Pilgrims stated that we have gathered to serve the pilgrims and said: we must be guides to the God on this journey. If someone seeks their own position on this journey, it will not work, so we must be as humane as possible. Emphasizing on the necessity to explain the Hajj rituals, he stated: "Sometimes people's understanding and comprehension differ. Therefore, they should be taught compassionately according to their levels; ask about their actions and if there is a problem, accompany them so that their affairs are carried out correctly. Even if people in the caravan say inappropriate things, they should be given time so that corrected themselves. Referring to the one-month period during which clerics accompany pilgrims on Hajj, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: "If this opportunity to reform and growth of pilgrims would be lost, we will be responsible on the Day of Judgment. Therefore, it should be tried to reform the behavior and beliefs of pilgrims, and in this case, pilgrims will be grateful to you for a lifetime."
