Saudi Arabia has not yet announced the attendance and quota of pilgrims

Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization chairman said: the manner of Pilgrims presence and the quotas of Islamic countries have not yet been announced by the host country.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, despite the ambiguity about the presence and amount of quotas of Islamic countries in this year's Hajj, we are ready to send Iranian pilgrims to the land of revelation, Mr.Alireza Rashidian said at the meeting of Plannig Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization chaired by Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, referring to the news about holding this year's Hajj al-Tamattu', said: "the organization has already predicted different scenarios regarding how to perform this year's Hajj al-Tamattu' and the presence of Iranian pilgrims, and plans are being pursued in different sections."
Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization chairman added: "according to the recent statements of Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah officials and the news published in the Saudi media, he hopes that the Hajj will be held under its own conditions and with the presence of Islamic countries pilgrims."
Last year, the Hajj was limited to the presence of Saudi nationals and foreign nationals living in Saudi Arabia, and this year the host country has not yet announced the presence of pilgrims from Islamic countries and the amount of their quotas.
Stating that the Saudi Ministry of Hajj has not yet announced its official position on the Hajj rituals, Hajj and Umrah Deputy to the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei said: "the host country has recently announced that this issue is under consideration and has postponed announcing the instructions on Pilgrims attendance and regulations to the near future."
Despite these conditions, structures and requirements in all executive departments have been foreseen, taking into account various possible conditions, and we are ready to implement the plan to send our country's pilgrims to the land of revelation in the shortest possible time, he added.
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab also called for more studies and proper information to pilgrims about how to perform Hajj in different conditions and capacities.
Deputy head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Atabat affairs Hojjat al-Islam Sohbatollah Rahmani also reported on his recent visit to Iraq, the pathology of sending pilgrims to Atabat-e-Aliat, and the various plans that have been reviewed and prepared in this regard.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, referring to the follow-up that has been done in the past to obtain the consent of the relevant institutions to resume pilgrimage to Iraq, called for this issue to be followed up again and the necessary action to be taken so the possibility of travel for the pilgrims of Ahl al-Bayt provided in accordance with the health protocols and in the form of pilgrimage caravans of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization as the custodian of pilgrimage in the country.
