Great Effort (Jihad) of Explaining Biography and Lifestyle of Late Imam Khomeini
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab considered the Jihad of explaining the biography and lifestyle of late Imam Khomeini as everyone's responsibility and while assessing Imam's lifestyle, he said: We all must fulfill this objective by following the example of Imam Khomeini (may God be pleased with him) in the community.
According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab who was speaking in the gathering of the top talents of seminaries in Qom, pointed to the emphasis laid by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei concerning Jihad and said, "All of us, in any situation, must defend the ideals of the Islamic revolution and the services of this system, and implement the explanation jihad.
"Despite his physical conditions and old age, the late Imam never gave up the effort to explain and entered the field to defend Islam at every moment," he said..
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out some examples of the jihad of explanation in the practical life of the Imam of the Ummah and said that although late Imam was at the ideal peak, he wrote a letter to Gorbachev and enlightened him, and when an ignorant made wrote the book 'Satanic Verses, he didn't hesitate for a moment and issued the verdict of Salman Rushdie's apostasy, which is, in the true sense, jihad of explanation.
The head of the Iranian pilgrims considered the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) as a clear example in the jihad of explanation and said that Imam Ali (AS) delivered the Qasea sermon in a situation where the enemies were trying to distort and weaken Islam by raising doubts, and this shows that is the jihad of explanation as the leader of the revolution said the Jihad of explanation is an urgent duty and duty of everyone that must be done on time and urgently to defend Islam.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab reminded that late Imam followed the example of the iMasoumin (peace be upon them) wherever he felt it was his duty to carry out the Jihad of explanation competently. The Imam of the Ummah at that time, who lost his beloved son Haj Seyed Mustafa Khomeini, not only did not back down from enlightening and explaining the facts, but also fulfilled his divine duty with more strength and intensity.
In continuation of his speech, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab by honoring the ten-day-dawn, called on the elites of seminaries to study the history of the Islamic Revolution in depth and said more than four decades have passed since the Islamic Revolution, and God's will has always been on the stability and survival of the Islamic Revolution.
He stated that in various incidents God Almighty has come to the aid of Islamic Iran with unseen aid and pointed to the incident of Tabas and the all-out invasion of the United States and said that in those hours when everyone was asleep, the dust particles came to the aid of the Islamic system like a strong army and they trapped the enemy in the heart of the desert.
"During the eight years of holy defense, the enemies rose up against Islamic Iran with various tactics and conspiracies, but God's favor and grace was always given to the state of this revolution, and the enemies were defeated in this unequal war. They could not occupy even a single part of Islamic Iran," the Supreme Leader's representative added.
He went on to explain the activities of the Supreme Leader's office in Hajj and Pilgrims affairs in various fields and answered the doubts and rulings of the pilgrims, interaction with the scholars of Islamic countries and answering the doubts of other Muslims among the duties of this institution and said that he is familiar with different languages and answers questions and doubts sent to this institution by pilgrims.
"Recruiting and training clerics to serve in Hajj caravans is one of the other duties of this cultural institution, and in recent years, efforts have been made to use clerics who have the necessary scientific and physical health conditions," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
He continued that pilgrims who have been waiting for years to visit the land of revelation bear heavy expenses, so they should bring efficient, competent, capable and successful clerics with them in the pilgrimage caravans so that they can perform the rituals and rituals and do not have doubts in your mind during this spiritual journey.
"The strategic policy of the Supreme Leader's office is to attract clerics, and the top talents, seminary elites, and professors at higher levels for this recruitment," he concluded.
