Centralized educational conference of Tehran Hajj al-Tamattu pilgrims

According to the Hajj information base, at the conference, which was held with the presence of thousands of pilgrims from Tehran and also officials of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab gave recommendations to pilgrims and explained the characteristics of this spiritual journey.

Offering his condolences on the anniversary of Imam Sadiq (a.s) martyrdom, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: It has been narrated from Imam Sadiq (a.s) that all those who enter the world of purgatory wish that Hajj was recorded in their deeds.

Pointing out that this year, Hajj pilgrims have been provided with the opportunity to perform the Hajj after 16 years of waiting, head of the Iranian Pilgrims reminded some advices of the religious elders about the Hajj and stated: It is important for the Hajj to know where he is going to go and whose invitation he answers and who is the guest. When a person enters Masjid al-Haram, his attention should not be drawn to the splendor of the space, but to see the owner of the house and avoid selfishness.

Referring to the Supreme Leader's statement about the lessons of Hajj, he said: coexistence is one of these lessons. Pilgrims' clothes are of the same shape and the same rhythm and play, they experience coexistence and simple life.

 Another lesson is practicing self-control. A person should try to avoid sin during Hajj and continue this behavior after Hajj, he added.

Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs addressing the attendees said: do the trip with the aim of getting closer to God and pay attention to why God has favored you. You are going on a pilgrimage at a time when about half of the pilgrims who registered in 85 and 86 have not yet been able to go on the pilgrimage, and with this quota, the waiting line would be continued for about 15 years.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab called for thoughtfulness, study and planning to use every moment of this trip and advised the attendees to get help from those who have had a history of Tasharof and keep a diary so that returning, not feel the sadness of losing this trip. Try not to miss this golden and unrepeatable opportunity.

Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said write the names of those you want to remember so that you can remember them in the Prophet's Court, Baitullah Al-Haram and other places of pilgrimage. Even remember some servants like sweeper. Some of these people are dearer to God than us because they provide halal bread for their families.

Pray for yourself, your children, your friends, and the deceased, and do Tawaf and pray. God accepts you and writes Tawaf in their records, he added.

Emphasizing on avoiding shopping in this spiritual journey, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said: buy souvenirs in Iran and spend your time on this journey to worship and get closer to God.

He further advised pilgrims to study the secrets and teachings of Hajj and perform the rituals correctly by reading the relevant books, cooperation, understanding and cooperation with fellow travelers and servants of pilgrims and be care of themselves to avoid getting sick.

Imam Sajjad (a.s) had entered a caravan anonymously to serve, and someone recognized and introduced him. Imam Sajjad (a.s) said, "I wish you had not introduced me so that I could serve, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.

He named the moral evolution as one of the achievements of this trip and by stating that man needs to improve himself but the devil does not allow, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: the one month Hajj journey should be used for self-improvement and communication with God and polishing the soul.

Head of the Iranian pilgrims called for the pilgrims more fondness with Qur'an during this trip, pointing out that the book is the word of God and Supreme Leader also emphasizes the fondness with the Qur'an.

Addressing the pilgrims, Supreme Leader's representative in hajj and pilgrimage affairs said: Choose good-tempered companions on this journey, help other pilgrims, be friendly and empathetic with religious brothers and sisters, and do not forget to support the oppressed people of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque and pray for the victory of this oppressed nation.

Stating that the Prophet (PBUH) has emphasized on supporting the Muslim brother, he added: The Imam of Ummah (RA) taught the power of self-belief to the oppressed people in the world and the Muslim people of Palestine learned from the Imam. We must defend the Muslims and the oppressed and be friends and helpers of the oppressed people of Palestine so that they also benefit from this Hajj.
