Last Meeting of Hajj officials in First Medina;
Medina Operations Gone well
Head of Iranian pilgrims, while addressing the session of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Representative Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, described the process of the previous operations in Medina as going on well.
According to the Hajj Information Base, in the last meeting of the officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage area in Medina, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab announced this and described the progress of the Hajj operation in Medina and Mecca and expressed his hope that this year according to the indices a unique Hajj will be held.
In this meeting that was held on Thursday evening (June 25), Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization announced the transfer of about 70,000 Iranian pilgrims to the Land of Revelation by the end of Thursday and said that this number is about 80 percent of the Hajj 1402 quota.
He also presented a report of his recent trip to Mecca and the visits he made to the process of cooking food and the transfer and return stations of Iranian pilgrims from Masjid al-Haram.
In the continuation of this meeting, Mr. Javad Danesh, Assistant Head of the Medina Headquarters, pointed out that the number of pilgrims entering Medina will decrease from Thursday, and said that from the total number of pilgrims who entered Medina until Wednesday night, 33,856 pilgrims in the form of 217 caravans after becoming Mohrem in the mosque they went to Mecca.
He also said that the process of evacuation of hotels of Iranian pilgrims in Medina has started with Hayah Al-Zahhabi Hotel and will end on the second day of Tir.
The meeting continued with the detailed report of Hojjat al-Islam Akhavian, the director of education of the Supreme Leader's representative office, about the holding of training courses for pilgrims and the measures taken to facilitate communication with cultural servants through Arafa messenger.
He said that due to the extreme heat in Mecca and the high average age of the pilgrims, instructions were prepared and announced to participate in the prayers of the Grand Mosque and the mosques around the hotels and offer prayers in the hotels.
Ayad Bahadori, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center in Medina, also mentioned in his report more than 7,200 cases of visits and providing 23,315 types of services to Iranian pilgrims since the beginning of the Hajj operation until Wednesday, and said that currently, four patients are in the hospitals of the host country and the center and they are being treated by doctors in Medina.
Hosseininejad, the representative of Iran Air, also stated that the number of pilgrims entering Medina until noon on Thursday was about 45,000 people in the form of 197 flights and about 23,000 pilgrims took 100 flights through Jeddah Airport, and the end time of the first Medina flights was Khordad 28 and Jeddah was Tir 2.
At the end of this meeting, the Supreme Leader's representative gave some warnings regarding the transfer of bags and luggage of pilgrims, which was sometimes accompanied by problems, and asked the officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and the airline to analyze these cases and from the service provider company in the host country to fulfill his duties and responsibilities.
The head of the Iranian pilgrims also emphasized the demand for the rights of pilgrims from the parties to the contract of hotels in the host country and considered the need to inform about the observance of hygiene points as much as possible due to the extreme heat of the air and to prevent the transmission of the virus.
