Foreign Minister and Head of Iranian Pilgrims Discuss Follow-Up of Hajj and Pilgrimage Issues

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in a meeting with Head of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab exchanged views on the Hajj and pilgrimage issues.

According to the Hajj Information Base, Amir Abdollahian met with Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the two sides exchanged opinions and consultations regarding the issues of Hajj and pilgrimage.


In the meeting which was held at the Supreme Leader's representative office, the Iranian foreign  minister considered the successful holding of Hajj 1402 as the result of the efforts made by the officials and those involved in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage.


The head of Iranian Pilgrims also appreciated the interaction and assistance of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the officials and diplomatic staff based in the host country (Saudi Arabia) to facilitate the affairs of Iranian Pilgrims.


In this meeting, which was attended by Mr. Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Mr. Amir Abdollahian while referring to his upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia, talked about the relations between Hajj and Umrah and the facilities that should be provided for the activities of the representative office of the Hajj Organization in Arabia to exchange opinions.


At the end of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab expressed hope that Saudi Arabia would pay attention to and use the proposals made by other Islamic countries to create suitable facilities and facilities in the field of Hajj and provide better services to pilgrims.
