Iranian and Indonesian Hajj Officials exchange views in Jakarta

The head of Iranian Hajj pilgrims and the Head of Indonesian Hajj met in Jakarta and exchanged views on how to organize Hajj and Umrah trips.

According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, in continuation of his plans in Indonesia, met and talked with the head of Hajj of Indonesia in Jakarta.


In this meeting, the Head of Hajj of Indonesia presented a report on management of Hajj affairs in his country and stated some activities in the field of Hajj for Indonesian Muslims.


The Supreme Leader's representative also considered the meetings of the Hajj officials of the two countries useful and made them familiar with the activities of the two sides in this field, and expressed his readiness to exchange opinions and share experiences.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also considered Hajj and Umrah as a point of commonality between Islamic countries and pointed to the responsibilities and duties of the organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage and the Supreme Leader's representative in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage.


Referring to the measures and plans in the religious, cultural, educational and medical fields to organize the Hajj of Iranian pilgrims as best as possible, he listed some of the activities of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage.


The Head of Iranian Hajj Pilgrims stated that encyclopedias about Hajj and Pilgrimage issues have been prepared and compiled, and invited the Indonesian Hajj officials to travel to Iran, and added that through the Deputy Supreme Leader's representative for international affairs, it is also possible to communicate with other Islamic countries.


In the continuation of this meeting, the Head of Hajj of Indonesia raised questions about the way of providing services to the Iranian pilgrims, including feeding and providing food for the Iranian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, and the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj affairs and the ministry also spoke about the experiences of Iran in various sectors, including the central kitchens and self-cooking in the host country to provide services in the field of nutrition.
