Details of Umrah, Arbaeen and Atabat Trips in Iraq
In the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, it was announced that the holding of Umrah trips is on the threshold of the final steps.
According to the Hajj Information Base, in this meeting held under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, Head of Iranian Pilgrims, Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei, Deputy Director of Hajj and Umrah Organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage, announced this and added, "Coordination and timing for the follow-up of Umrah works has been determined. And if the price of the flight ticket is announced, the opinion of the pricing commission will be announced regarding the cost of this trip."
He clarified that with the announcement of agreement regarding the flight schedules, advance notices and registration notices will be published for those interested.
The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs emphasized the need for coordination of all departments to announce the start date of Umrah journeys, and said that follow-ups are done in such a way that the necessary facilities are provided at the right time to provide services to the pilgrims in the host country.
In the continuation of this meeting, while establishing a video communication with Hojaj Islam Hossein Behjati and Hossein Kardan, the officials of the representative offices of the Supreme Leader's mission in Karbala and Najaf, the latest actions and follow-ups related to the Arbaeen journey and the sending of pilgrims to the shrines were reviewed.
In this meeting, according to the statements of the officials of the representative offices of the Supreme Leader's mission in Karbala and Najaf, Mr. Hamid Reza Mohammadi, the deputy of the shrines of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, referring to the number of convoys sent by the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to the shrines in recent weeks, he enumerated the measures adopted to solve the problems in order to provide better services in the areas of transportation, accommodation and food.
He also presented a detailed report on the follow-ups regarding the selection of an insurance company, registration in the Samah and guidance system, and the affairs of missing persons regarding Arbaeen pilgrims according to last year's pathology.
The Deputy Director of Hajj Organization announced the number of pilgrims who have registered in the Samah system for Arbaeen 1403 as of this morning about 520,000 people and said that this number is ten percent less than the same situation last year.
"According to the assessment done last year, registrations accelerated from the beginning of the month of Safar," he added.
Appreciating the measures taken in the area of Atabat to solve the problems, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs stated that everyone's efforts should be focused on providing good services and protecting the rights of pilgrims, and regarding the provision of services by the insurance company during the Arbaeen season, necessary care should be taken by those involved.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also reminded about the need to hold briefing sessions for pilgrims before the trip in the form of the organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage.
In this meeting, Seyyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, demanded to clarify the responsibility of the nameless and unmarked belongings of the past Arbaeen and Hajj pilgrims according to the follow-up carried out by the office of the Supreme Leader's office and he mentioned the proposed solutions.
